ISOTANK

The ISO tank is named after the ISO standard. It concerns tanks used for transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. The main feature that distinguishes an ISO tank from a flexitank is that the former is made of stainless steel. The inner walls of this tank are lined with protective layers, which serve to prevent corrosion of the steel and contamination of the liquids. ISO tanks are easily distinguishable by their cylindrical shape and the presence of a hatch at the top.

PROJECT SHIPMENTS FOR MACHINERY OR EQUIPMENT WITH BREAK BULK SERVICE (UNCONTAINERISED BULK) AND/OR ON OPEN TOP CONTAINERS, WHETHER WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE CONTAINER OUTLINE, OR FLAT RACKS

BREAK BULK

Break bulk is a system of transporting goods in bulk rather than in containers. This type of cargo does not use containers and is used for individual goods that are oversized and/or overweight, e.g. construction equipment, oil and gas machinery, pipes, boats, turbine blades, ship propellers, generators, large engines and steel components.
